Today we did the Peach Pedal. I was surprised how easy my ride was. It was a nice to ride through the country side. It was still early enough in the morning that it wasn't ridiculously hot. Jared, on the other hand, had a much more challenging ride. Afterwards we went to the Weatherford Peach Fest which was a waste of time & money with the kids. It cost $5 per adult to get in, and I'm not sure what you get for that as everything cost once inside. Luckily, we got in free by participating in the bike ride. Everything else was expensive. There weren't as many craft things at the booths than I had hoped. It was so crowded and so hot there. I don't know that we would go again, especially with kids that didn't want to be there. Other than that we enjoyed the ride part. I'm going to take a day off and start back to riding on Monday. I'm going to bump up my mileage to 12 miles and hopefully be able to bump it up again to 15 miles by early August.
